The Easy-Does-It Diet

This is nothing like other diets, including the long-time popular Weight Watchers or Jenny Craig. To start with, this diet meal plan is a whole lot cheaper. The Easy-Does-It Diet comes with a complete book of easy healthy recipes and teaches you everything you need to know about diet meal planning. One part of the book discusses the problems with highly processed foods and the harm that they can do to your body.

We are all aware that foods made with white flour and sugar are not good for our body’s on a daily basis, but this book goes one step further and shows in clear pictures why an abundance of these foods are harmful in the long-term.  The great part about the book is that it’s an e-book, which means that you can download it from the internet and start preparing your diet meals that same day.  Compared to cookbooks in your local bookstore, the price is relatively inexpensive as well.

This easy diet uses healthy recipes with no special foods to buy and no expensive diet meals. You are just going to prepare easy family meals that are good for you and your family.

With every diet, there are pros and cons.  Fortunately, with this diet meal plan, the pros far outweigh the cons.  The biggest thing in its favor is the fact that you can find all the food you need in your local grocery store.

While you are choosing the foods to prepare your diet meals, remember that fresh is always best. However this may not always be feasible as the time of the season and the region you live in also affects when you can get fresh fruits and vegetables reasonably priced. If you cannot get fresh foods and vegetables to meet your budget, the Easy Does It Diet allows for frozen and canned foods in moderation.

You can save money by making meals ahead of time by preparing easy to cook dinners and lunches once a month, and then freezing them for later use.  The portions are just the right size.  The author uses a lot of veggies in his recipes and the only real downside is that if you work in a place where there is no microwave in the lunchroom you might have a problem.  Aside from that, the diet meals are easy to use.

There are four easy does it diet steps:

1. Spend a couple of hours one afternoon, evening or even one morning preparing individual sized servings and freezing them.

2.  Grab one of the meals from the fridge in the morning on your way to work, so you can heat it up to eat in just 5 minutes in the microwave.

3.  If you don’t want to cook dinner, then take one out of the fridge, and you have dinner on the table in five short minutes with no messy pots and pans to wash.

4.  For a switch, you can have a salad for lunch instead of a frozen meal.

The Easy Does It Diet Plan will not only save you a load of cash, but it will get you and your family eating healthily in no time at all. With healthy eating, weight loss follows naturally.

My Food Diary

My Food Diary offers two very useful tools that make it the best resource for nutrition information online. Not only does MyFoodDiary contain an enormous database of different foods and their nutritional data, but it also offers an incredibly accurate search engine for food items as well. By combining these two things together, you have a simple to use and straight forward nutrition tool that is efficient and effective. My Food Diary is more than simply an on line food diary, as it also provides a wealth of nutritional information as well.

The My Food Diary website was initially developed in 2001 and was intended to be a food calorie list with not much more than a basic food database with nutritional data. There were a number of different options out there, but none satisfied the developers behind the website, who decided to build their own on line food diary solution from scratch as a result. After tens of thousands of hours of work, My Food Diary is more than just a food calorie list. It provides nutritional information for more than 50 thousand food items including foods from 250 different restaurants and 850 different brand names.

The nutritional information contained for most of the items in the database extends far beyond simple calorie counts. It offers information about total fat, saturated fat, trans fat, sodium, cholesterol, carbohydrates, dietary fiber, sugar, protein, Vitamins A and C, iron, calcium and alcohol as well. The benefit of this is that the My Food Diary website can provide complete nutrition and nutrient data, generating dietary reports for food items that probably no other competing on line food diary will be able to provide as accurately.

While there are a number of other food diary websites online, they do not have the search capabilities that the My Food Diary website offers. This means that finding the nutrition information that you seek can sometimes be difficult, if not outright impossible. But by choosing My Food Diary, you are allowing yourself to quickly, easily and effectively find the food information that you need without a hassle or a lot of work. But this is more than just a caloriecounter, as it is also an excellent resource for weight loss advice and other vital information for health, wellness and good overall nutrition.

If you are serious about good nutrition and you want access to the most complete food diary and nutrition resource site on the internet, then the solution you seek is My Food Diary. By visiting them, you will be opening yourself up to a thorough food search feature, with tens of thousands of food items complete with nutritional information for as many as 15 different nutrients. My Food Diary is more than just an on line food diary or a comprehensive food calorie list. It is a combination of a top quality search feature and the most thorough food database on the internet, making it the premier destination for anyone seeking nutrition information about the food that they eat.

The Rave Diet

The RAVE diet is actually an acronym for no Refined foods, no Animal foods, no Vegetable oils, and no Exception or exercise. This is not so much a diet designed for quick weight loss as it is a healthy lifestyle change in eating habits that will improve your overall health, particularly cardiovascular. A book and instructional DVD are included for optimum results. The book contains diet menu plans for a heart healthy diet. There are rules for meal preparation, a substitution guide, sample recipes, as well as a lot of information about the role that diet plays in heart disease and cancer.

The 88-minute DVD that accompanies the book is appropriately titled “Eating”. It contains interviews with renowned physicians, as well as vital information on how our diet can directly affect cardiovascular health. The RAVE diet has actually been known to reverse heart disease in a number of individuals! The book and DVD together only cost USD $19.95, which is very affordable for a diet plan.

The RAVE diet is relatively flexible and even contains a transition plan so that you can gradually adjust your tastes to a healthier diet. Some of the primary tips or ideas behind the RAVE diet are to always eat whole foods that are as close to their natural state as possible and to eat most of your food uncooked, without dips or toppings. You should eat a variety of colorful foods. For example, a salad is an ideal meal. You should never cook with salt and avoid packaged snack foods. Water should be your primary beverage. You should take a multivitamin daily as well as a tablespoon of ground flaxseed.

Lest you be concerned that your heart healthy diet will be bland, the book contains great substitute information for seasonings, sauces, sweeteners, oils, salad dressings and condiments. There are healthy ways to make your food tasty. The book claims that if you follow these guidelines by shunning refined and animal foods as well as vegetable oils, you can be on your way to preventing or reversing degenerative diseases within 21 days!

Unlike other quick weight loss diets that are popular today, the RAVE diet encourages getting healthy first and foremost. Naturally weight loss will probably also occur, perhaps even drastic weight loss, but the focus is on a heart healthy diet.

Negative Calorie Diet

The Negative Calorie Diet is based on the principle that you are going to be eating foods that have negative calories. It is a pretty easy concept. You may think that all foods have calories, right? Wrong! There are some foods that contain very little calories at all. The thing that many people get confused with is that most foods have some calories. But, all foods require the body to provide some energy to burn them, and that is where the negative calories come in.

If a certain food requires more of the body’s energy to consume it than the food produces, then that food will turn out to have a calorie deficit or to be a negative calorie food. These foods can help you lose weight. So say for example, you eat something that is 65 calories. Once your body burns off those 65 calories, you will have actually eaten zero calories. So, you can eat as many negative foods as you want in the negative calorie diet, and not only will you not gain weight, but you will actually lose weight.

Something else that should be considered on the negative calorie diet is the way you cook your food. Believe it or not, cooking can actually add calories to your food. For example, if you fry your vegetables in butter, the butter will add not only calories but fat, too. If you want the best nutritional value, eat the vegetables raw. If you must cook them, try boiling, steaming or cooking them in a frying pan with nonfat cooking spray.

What are negative calorie foods? This ebook identifies around 22 vegetables including Carrots, Broccoli, Radishes and Cabbages and some 19 fruits including Papayas, Grapefruit, Strawberries and Oranges.

Does all this mean that you will never have to get on a treadmill again? Of course not. As with any other diet on the market today, healthy eating and exercise go hand in hand. Any time you move your body, you are burning calories. It doesn’t matter what you are doing: washing dishes, running or washing the car. You are burning calories.

When you eat and your food is digesting, you are also burning calories. Each of us is different, but on the average, people burn 5% to 15% of their total daily calorie intake from just digesting their foods. This is an amazing statistic.

Let’s do an easy calculation here. Stick with me for a minute. Your body consumes 2500 calories a day roughly. You exercise an hour a day so your body only requires 2000 calories to maintain your current weight. With those numbers, you are actually consuming 500 more calories each day than you need. After 7 days that amounts to 3500 calories. Since 3500 calories is equivalent to a pound, you are actually gaining one pound a week.

Now, factor in your digestion which is burning 125 calories. Take those 125 calories away from the 500 extra calories and you would end up cutting the extra calories to 375 a day. But even with those extra 375 calories, you are still going to gain that extra pound, but it will take 2 days longer. If you consume 2500 calories a day minus 10% of your daily intake, that would equal 250 calories being burned during digestion each day. It will take you two weeks to gain that same pound.

What does this all mean? The average person eating average foods is going to slowly put on weight. This is where you need to increase your consumption of negative calorie foods and where better to find out how, than with the Negative Calorie Diet ebook. Download it onto your computer now and get started immediately.

Lose Weight Without Dieting

Some people just hate the thought of dieting. So what can you do to lose weight without having that “I am on yet another diet” feeling? In reality diets rarely work. You may lose weight temporarily, but when you go back to your old eating habits, the weight will come right back. Making permanent changes in your lifestyle–eating habits, amount of daily exercise and thinking processes–will go a long way to helping you to lose weight without dieting.

Your body doesn’t like abrupt changes in routine, so whatever method you use to lose weight you need to make adjustments gradually. Since your body is designed to use food energy to fuel daily activity, you need to gradually adjust the amount you eat to match the amount of exercise you get each day, or vice versa. If you don’t want to eat less, then become more active each day so that your activity level matches the amount you are eating.

If you’re not a fan of working out at the gym, try making small changes to your daily exercise. Take the stairs instead of the elevator or lift. Park further from the door and enjoy the walk. Get off the bus one stop before your actual stop and walk the rest of the way. While watching TV, stand up and stretch during commercial breaks (there are enough of them!). You may not think that these little changes will make much of a difference, but over time, they will add up.

There are many tricks that you can use to aid weight loss without dieting. You don’t have to deprive yourself for the rest of your life to keep the weight off either. For example, simply using a smaller plate at mealtimes will help keep your portions smaller and your calorie intake lower. Often we just tend to fill up our plates whether we need that much or not.

Another trick is to put your fork down between each bite. This will help you eat slower and feel full faster. We usually eat so fast that it takes a while before we get the message that we are full. Eating slowly gives more time for that message to arrive before we have already gorged ourselves.

Drinking plenty of water is also a fantastic way to speed up weight loss without dieting. Not only does water help to curb the appetite, but it is also great for the body. Water speeds up the metabolism and helps our bodies burn more calories.

If you’re an emotional eater who eats to feel better, then try taking the Bach flower remedy Agrimony. This is a completely safe way to help you lose weight without dieting, because it will take the emotional aspect out of eating.

There are a few minor adjustments you can make to your diet that will help aid weight loss without dieting. For example, eating hot peppers can boost your metabolism up to 20%. (That was 20% – not a typing error!) Breakfast is often the most common meal that people skip, but it is actually the most important meal of the day. It sets the standard for your metabolism for the entire day. Avoid alcohol at all costs. It is loaded with calories. If you really want an alcoholic drink, then fill your glass with ice first. You’ll drink less without even realizing it.

Whatever method you use to lose weight without dieting, don’t be discouraged when the pounds don’t melt off immediately. These are long-term changes that offer long-term results.

Burn Fat

Before I hit age 30, fat burning was not one of the top things on my mind.  I had endless energy, a full schedule and a lean body.  Somewhere around that magic mark, though, I had to learn how to burn fat to keep those extra inches off.  By incorporating fat burning activities into my life, I also experienced a renewed surge in my energy and attitude that had been lost.  Here are some of the things that I did to get back to my younger self. They may help you as well.

A combination of caloric intake for burning fat and incorporating fat burning activities into my daily routine helped to maximize my results.  I researched quite a few options and found some valuable tips that you may be able to use.  In order to burn fat, exercise plays a big part, but there are definitely other things that you can do.

Although tempted to buy into the notion that I would burn fat by doing low intensity workouts such as walking, I was quickly corrected by my personal trainer.  Think “no pain, no gain” when working out. This enables you to get the most for your exercise dollar by using fat burning techniques that will work the weight off quickly and effectively.  Running will burn more calories than walking any day. By increasing the intensity of your work out, you will get the most bang for your exercising buck.

Interval training will also help you maximize your fat burning power.  With this technique, you push your limits for short bursts, but then work out at a lower intensity for a short while. As an example, walk briskly for two minutes and then run for two minutes.  Keep this type of pace up during the whole workout.

Make sure that you are choosing your exercises for maximum fat burning.  Work with a personal trainer to find out how much effort is safe while you are still working out. Do not go to far too soon – you may do more harm than you realise. Make sure that you are working out all the large muscle groups – your thighs and rear, chest and back.  Maximize as many muscles within one workout as possible – use rowing machines instead of a leg press, for example, to streamline time use.

Your diet plan will affect the amount of fat burning that you accomplish too.  By eating smaller amounts more often – especially when you combine those meals with better food choices, you will start to help your metabolism kick in to burn fat faster.  It never hurts to add green tea to your diet before eating or exercising as this will also help you increase the disposal of fatty acids.

Believe it or not, working out can be fun!  Make sure that you pick fun fat burning activities.  Keep your exercise routine exciting for you, vary it and experiment with new things to eat at the same time.  Burning fat can be a fun life style change and you will marvel at the results as you watch your body transform in the mirror.  By working out with a high intensity workout, your body will continue to burn calories long after you have stopped working out.  Now those are results I can work for!
